i want: ray-ban wayfarers
As much as I love Kanye West's shutter sunglasses, I would go for the classic and pick up a pair of Wayfarers. Originally designed in 1952, the actual shape has only been tweaked and never dramatically changed. I don't really know what got me into loving it so much but I suspect it had something to do with both my favorite icons, Audrey Hepburn and Bob Dylan, sporting them so well.
They cost about $100-150, which means I won't own an authentic Ray Ban Wayfarer until maybe after college? but I could easily pick up a pair of knock-offs for $10-30.
